If you're expecting a baby soon or have a little one at home then you'll no doubt be in need of some essentials.

But with shopping trips restricted and supermarket delivery slots like gold dust, it's not that easy to get your hands on what you need.

So whether it's nappies and baby wipes, or larger items like slings, prams and nursery furniture, we've been taking a look at some of the best deals you can get online.

Amazon

Obviously a go-to for many people is Amazon and while deliveries are taking longer than usual, you can still get Prime, which seems to be taking around five days.

There are lots of bulk buy options on nappies, like the £20 pack of 144 Pampers baby-dry size 5, or the pack of 240 Pampers premium protection for £30.45.

You can stock up on baby wipes too, whether it's the single packs like Huggies Natural Care Wipes for £1, or the 12-pack box of Pampers wipes for £23.98.

There's pretty much everything else you might need for your baby too, from clothing and shoes to nursery furniture and feeding equipment.

Slings are particularly popular at the moment as parents are taking those all-important daily strolls and you can get these from Amazon too, starting from around £20.

This zimo Baby Soft Carrier, which can be used for babies from three months to 48 months, is available for £20.99 with free delivery.

There are also some great deals on feeding equipment, like the award-winning Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Newborn Starter Kit, for £16.99 (RRP £31.99).

You can sign up for a free 30-day trial of Amazon Prime here.

You can get some great deals on nappies, wipes and more at the baby event, which is running at Boots.

There's a two for £12 offer running on selected Pampers Premium Protection nappies, which usually cost £8 a pack.

And there's up to half price off selected Tommee Tippee products, including the Tommee Tippee Electric Steriliser, which has been reduced from £58.99 to £29.49, and the packs of feeding bottles, which are expected back in stock soon.

Bigger items are on offer too, with savings to be had on car seats, including the Britax Römer Baby Safe seat, reduced from £190 to £171 and available in various colours.

Delivery is free on orders over £30 and if you sign up to the retailer's parenting club you can earn eight points for every pound on your baby shop.

You also get parenting club special offers and free gifts at key stages of your baby's development.

Aldi's Baby and Toddler event is running at the moment and while there's limited stock available in stores because of the current situation, products can still be ordered online.

You can't get items such as nappies and wipes delivered, but there's lots available among the Special Buys and delivery is free if you spend over £20.

Its hospital bag essentials range includes the likes of Lansinoh nipple cream, £10.49, and cellular pram blankets, in blue, pink, or cream, for £8.99.

The retailer also has a number of offers running. On nappies, there are selected Pampers from £4.50 a pack and there's an offer to buy one and get the second half price on selected My Little Star Maternity & Baby Accessories.
